Hallman Family Hymn

We meet again the praise to sing

Of Thee, our father’s God.

We praise Thee for this blessed land

On which our father trod.

For life and health and happiness,

For home and friends so dear,

But most of all the privilege

Of knowing Thou are near.

Now may we accept the call

To duty, truth and right.

Striving all evil to overcome.

So shall our paths be bright.

The fight for right we’ll ever wage

Nor lay our armor down

Till in the presence of the King

We shall receive the crown

Then let our flag wave over graves

Of heroes gone before

Their spirits brave have faced the waves

Of all adversities

Now with fraternal grasp we part

And kindly wishes given

That when our work on earth is done

We shall all meet in heaven.

Written by the late Rev. Wallace D. Hallman, and adopted as the Hallman Family Association Hymn in 1909
